There was a time when memes were fun. On Facebook and other places, they were refreshing. Amidst cat videos, boring updates, and cursory "likes", they offered some wisdom and good advice. But the truth, at this point, is that we have become consumers of enlightening words without the commitment to actually implement them. And when you consider the behavior of some of the people who post these insightful memes, it underlines the convenience of hypocrisy. On that note, it only seems appropriate that I post some memes of my own (though not written by me).
